Saucony joins forces with the New York streetwear brand Alife to seek a new creative vein that can give a more carefree touch to the Shadow 6000. The main color is white, the mesh uppers are covered with soft touches of yellow, orange and green, paying homage to the most iconic subway stops in bustling New York City. Extra Butter and Saucony announce their new collaboration: Saucony Shadow 6000 "Rabbit Hole" The design and color blocking references the White Rabbit character made famous by Lewis Carroll’s novel, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, but conceptually focuses on the “down the rabbit hole,” which has since become a metaphor for exploring the subconscious and philosophies of the metaphysical. The White Rabbit Shadow 6000 is constructed of premium leather, pig suede, and sport mesh with reflective underlays. The traditional “running man” found on the woven tongue label of most Saucony Originals products has been replaced by a custom white rabbit silhouette. The box and insole were designed with a vibrant and colorful psychedelic overhaul, contrasting the simplicity of the shoe itself.
